Not our job to do that, it's your job to find the truck that suits you.... just like we did.

Next time buy a truck based on what it actually does, not by what you think it's supposed to do and doesnt.

And that original Marty McFly truck wouldn't have blown your hair back with power, it was a little 4 banger with 31 inch tires.

Ov tune it and enjoy driving your truck.

If you sell the truck later flash it to stock and sell the tune kit for a couple hundred bucks off retail.

I am one of them with an sr5 that has had NO issues, i got the 4x4 version with a few other goodies added at no cost to me. Love it. Didn't go with the trd or because of price mixed with wanting to do my build myself. pick my own tires, locker, and such. Got mine at a steal of a price

That is pretty bad luck. I’ve had a quirky issue lately as well (stalled engine) but then I look at all the other manufacturers. No one is without issues. Diesel Canyon? Regent issues. F150? Doors freezing shut. Motors blowing. Ram? How much time you got?

    I’d do the following:
    - OV Tune or other software to resolve the issue. People say it’s helped. I will say Atkinson cycle takes getting used to, which you should be at this point. I don’t notice it any more. And once it gets going, it has more than enough power for me.
    - If that doesn’t work, trade down to a low mileage 2015.
