    Note 1: You guys that are having trouble removing the screw: Are you using a quality branded driver? It's silly to say that there's a difference in something so simple, but there is. There's just some tools that you can't skimp on. My Snap-on No. 2 Phillips took it right out. It was in there tight, but I was good with a little angry strength.

    Note 2: I got mine, got it on and forgot about it. I had gotten gas that day. A week later I went to go fill up, opened the gas door and smiled. The half-ass attempt that Toyota made was fixed with something simple. I made excuses to get gas a few more times that week.

    Now I wish I hadn't of missed the "power" button on doo-hickey. It's another peeve I have with this truck.

    X2. Use the right size and quality screwdriver. Stabilize the gas door with the other hand and put some elbow grease into it. If all else fails, ask the wife to break it loose for you:boink:
