Ok. 55 degrees, looking for 72 with a slight breeze (5 mph) and sunny.

We usually wait till somewhere the end of the month. Appointments are easier to get and the preparers usually have the tax laws down pat. My wife already has everything in an envelope ready to go.

Just heard my first flock of geese headed North. Open water on the river had lots of geese and ducks in a holding pattern, noisy as hell. People still ice fishing so they aren't in a hurry yet to go much further North. I think heard a red wing black bird yesterday but pretty early for them, could have been wishfully thinking on my part.

My wife finished our taxes last weekend. I was so happy.
Got to pay a little to feds and getting some back from state. So I can't complain.

With fed it's a little easier than Az state...still haven't figured them out. There's a list of a few % you choose to be taxed at. The 1st year we paid so we bumped it up and get a pretty good chunk back and there's no in between. Plus, with both state and fed, I put in so much OT it's a moving target so we'll just continue over paying and getting larger (for us) returns....better than Ca. Those bastards took everything I got back from fed and then some.

...that's why everyone here is sneezing and carrying on...

According to the EA I have until April 15th to get whatever shoreline cleaned at the lake before I have to stop for bird and fish nesting/breeding. So it's pretty safe to assume I'll be cranking out the OT between now and then.

But I have been seeing a lot more birds out there lately. And the folks fishing is climbing in numbers trying to get the fish before they hit the nests.

Or buy a slip and cover the entire chair...Next time it happens you can remove the slip throw it in the washer and back on goes a clean slip....Just a thought...

I’m going to let couch dry and go up in attic to see what’s up with antenna cable. Would be nice to see some ballgames.
