    I think that's called swinging. There's a board for that too. ;-)

sitting at work right now, and all I can think about is getting in to some adventures soon. does anyone know where to get maps of fire access roads, or just unpaved roads in the SF's around here. It can be tough to arrange a group ride, but Im looking to do a little exploring after mud season! I want to catch some views, and spend some quality time with friends and fam while im at it

Check out the DCR site for PDFs of their properties. Those give the best detail. That is typically what I use when I am in a particular forest. Or the Delorme maps to explore wider.

I like adventures, too bad I'm not close out your way.

Dammit you're not suppose to be spending my money but, I'm definitely buying this for MA & ME. Thanks for the info, I've been wondering how to find more information about this stuff/navigation while off grid.

& now $34 worth of maps are in my Amazon cart....

As much as I don't want the ski season to end; I'm really looking forward to when the weather turns and the mud is gone to get out for camping and some MTB

I'd probably be close to that price if I added NH & VT but, I'm not in those states as often. Those will be eventual purchases to have an aresenal of maps. Couldn't add too much, still have cb components to buy which are adding up the price.

Ready to get back on my MTB as well - actually hoping to get a new one this year... which reminds me I should post mine up for sale... hoping to go 27.5+ 130mm'ish travel rear 140mm'ish front - something long low and slack.

My CB should finally be here tomorrow! hopefully... USPS screwed me on that one...

I wanted to get a new bike. I have an older Giant that is pretty beat up--also steel frame so it is super heavy. Used to do 2000 miles a year.

Thinking about looking for something in the $500 dollar ballpark so I at least get an aluminum frame and disc brakes, and so it is also cheap enough so I don't burn a lot of money on something I never use.

But, with buying a new truck I will probably hold off a few months. Maybe put a few parts into my Giant and see if I like that again.
