A couple of weeks ago, someone ran a stop sign on me and ran into (under) my Silverado. Unfortunately, it caused the suspension lift brackets to bend back, bent the frame, twisted the cab so the truck was totaled even though the body damage wasn't that bad. So I'm buying a 2013 Tacoma regular cab which hopefully shows up tomorrow. I don't have any good pictures of it yet but here's one along with the Silverado and other car. The worst thing is that I have a pair of brand new General Grabber AT2 315/70/17 tires that were going to go on the Silverado but I don't think I would want to try and run them on the Tacoma. It has 16" wheels and I think I want to stay with that for now.

Actually, they are supposed to bring it down tomorrow I hope. My back bothers me too much to do 6+ hours of driving (my back has nothing to do with the accident). Yeah, the good thing is nobody was hurt in the accident and there were 4 people in the car.

I finally got the truck yesterday. It needs some cleaning up but it's tough to get a good picture of a white truck with snow in the background so give me a couple of days. It has sliders welded on, new 285/75/16 tires, new cat pipe, new wheel bearings, new battery, OME 885x springs on the nitro shocks, SPC UCA's, looks like rear add a leafs (I have to look closer) but it feels like I'm sitting at leas a foot lower than my 2009 Silverado with 6" lift, 35" tires and adjustable seat. I did a fresh wax job to see how nice it would come up.
