    I just got it!
Has anyone bent or cut up their front license plate to fit it in the lower grille? Or done some sort of mod to make it look cleaner? I wanna do this but I just don't know where to start!

I doubt it's actually legal to modify your plate in any way. Better check your local laws before you take on this project.

I'm not sure if it's legal, but 90% of my friends have done this to their vehicles. They just fold the top and bottom of the plate back to make it narrower, and then put it in the grille.

One of my friends dad has an 07 Gallardo, which doesn't have a front license plate mount, so he had someone airbrush one onto the front bumper, which is apparently legal.

Either way, that's not my concern.

Well even if painting was illegal he could just floor it before the cop could fully turn around and he would be gone.

So you don't have one at all? Or you've fit it somewhere more inconspicuous?

none at all, bitch part is its too big for the glove compartment either... so i have it under the rug in the back of my access cab. im not too worried about the cops giving me too much trouble, they never bothered me when i had my corolla tinted, speedway blue, rims and the like (a cop "magnet") so i dont think they should bother me too much for this one either. but thats just my $.02

In Montana you have to have both front and rear plates. When I put on the Bull Bar the Plate sits Dead Center

When I put the AP bumper on I just didn't put the front plate back on.

Haven't been pulled over for the ~6-7 months I've had the bumper on there.

Some cops will find the tiniest reason to pull you over in hopes of a bigger "catch," especially if you have out-of-state or out-of-county tags. I was once stopped for a "partially obscured tag date sticker" because of a tiny fleck of mud about as big as a pea. I got out and flicked off the mud pellet while the cop ran my license and his partner snooped in my windows with his flashlight. Of course, I then went on my way sans ticket or warning as it was a bogus stop.
