So @OVTune have you been able to glean any further info about whatever was leading to the issues so many people had that you can share with us, from all the logs that have been sent in? Aside from what you've already told us the other day

does throttle position factor into load? I'm still trying to figure out exactly how i can smooth out the timing transition consistently through what I'm doing as a driver.

While full otto sounds cool, I drive 70-80 miles a day mostly on the highway with the cruise control on. So I'm eagerly awaiting to see if @OVTune can get this thing dialed in with Atkinson. No I haven't purchase the kit yet, however I do plan on it once I have the available funds to spend.

No worries. Full OTTO is for shits n giggles. I’m curious to see how the truck responds going full OTTO. I spend most of my city driving at 2k RPM.

I mean, really how many mpg are we saving? I got an average of 18-20 on my first gen Tacoma and not getting any better really with the 3rd gen, so...

Oh I'm down to have it as an option, just not the only option.
Who cares how much or little we are saving its bad enough as it is, no need to make things worse!

For me, the tune makes things better. It was a night and day difference compared to stock. Like all things in development, it has its quirks that’s slowly being worked out.

Oh I'm definitely planning on getting the tune. After driving my truck all winter I've found the poor drive-ability to be unsat. My 2nd gen with the 2.7 drove better in terms of feel, it just didn't have any power.

It's coming man! It's currently number 3 on the list of car parts purchases that I don't really need. :D

Sounds like me, I have a 1 mile commute to work, none of it above 45 mph,not even enough time to get to operating temp. It is garaged at night so no need to warm it up in the morning for such a short drive. The only time it gets to temp is if I start it up when it's below zero before leaving work for lunch or at the end of the day just to get some heat in it for the defrost. Summertime camping ,wheeling and hunting season is the only time it gets any use on the highway.

Running the blend of 87/91 caused the truck to stutter less. 103b tune
