Probably the guy was wearing some fruity ass shoes, Versace shoes that are probably $800 alone... But I thought the funniest thing was he told me that all the tacomas are Prerunners

Depends on what type of reloading you want to do. I load on a friends Dillon 650 for 9 and 45, awesome!! Volume reloading at its best but for rifle I load on a single stage. Can you load precision on a progressive, yes! I have not done it so I cannot comment on that but precision shooters that have love it. As with anything, learn, educate, know your systems and go for it. I am sure you can get that 650 producing precison ammo, it just may take more time to figure out were you need to change things. Single stage is easy, you see every step and go from there.
Ideally, I will have both, just need time and money.

So the salesman guy called my brother thinking I wasn't around and tried telling my brother that there's only 1 guy in the state with a manual truck and that they're hard to find :rofl::rofl:

What a f'N tool this guy is... I've found like 5 of them for sale in the past 2 days

This is when you ask for a new salesman that knows what they're talking about. I freaking hate dealerships. Took 6 months to find my gf her 4Runner and told several dealers they were idiots.

I went to bell road when I was looking. Ended up with an older woman. She didn’t know a thing about any of the tacomas. Was nice tho. Lol

I mean, technically he's sort of right?? Just a gross misunderstanding of what Toyota's marketing strategy was/is and their nomenclature.
So 2nd gens used to come in 5-lug versions, if you had a 5-lug you were definitely 2WD but Toyota found that marketing "prerunners" aka 2WD trucks with 6 lugs and all the 4x4 fixings to be a winning strategy.
Fast forward to the 3rd gen and they decide to drop the 5-lug from the lineup altogether, and ditch the "prerunner" badge while making all 2WD trucks 6-lug (AKA what was previously called a prerunner)... so while the thing about 4x4 is totally wrong, it does sort of make sense given what he was probably told.

Anyways most salespeople are gonna say anything they can to close a deal. I don't let it bother me too much, I just sort of nod my head and play along. I won't get hostile unless you really prod me with some serious bullshit. I'm not here to make friends, but I also have a vested interest in playing their psychology (sometimes as the agreeable schmuck) just like they are trying to get into my head. When it comes to price and negotiations is where I let them have it, whether or not they told me a tall tale about my truck is [mostly] irrelevant.

I overheard that it wasn't as good as last year.

Saw a few TW people I knew from other meets, I think there were more I just haven't met yet, and @Techoma had his setup out there... hope he won that skidplate! :D

Also now I'm thinking about a freaking RTT. :goingcrazy:

People dumping on what some people considered an overpriced LX450 and mods strictly enforcing the "no dumping on peoples sale threads" rule.
