New lift yesterday.

I just put bilistein 5100 all around. I set the front to the 4th notch 1.55” and put 1.5” spacer blocks in the back. I was thinking of doing a 3” lift but I’m really happy where I am at 1.5ish.

The ride is a bit stiffer but I like it.

Measurement - most measure from center of wheel hub to btm of fender straight up.

S/B around 23-24" give or take.

Great look! I would want mine to be similar in stance. Don't want to get to radical just a little taller tires for additional clearance and a meaner look. Don't plan to crawl or go mudding. Wanted the 4 wheel drive to be able to get out IF i got stuck.

Were they the Bilistein coil-overs up front? Or stock springs and new shocks all around? Was it a Kit? Thanks

When you say its stiff do you mean it has a harder recoil? Ive always preferred my sudpension a little bit stiffer and less body roll. Have been researching lifts awhile and am just curious.

Also digging the red on black with the custom decal.

 

The front bilstein 5100 are adjustable and use your stock coils. I set mine at 4th notch which is 1.55 lift. In the back I used bilstein 5100 and put a 1.5 spacer Under the spring.

The ride Got more stiff but not as bad as I thought it would. I am happy with it. Not to crazy and my new larger tires won’t rub.

 

Thanks. I’m the only thing I notice is I feel the bumps more but it takes big bumps really well. It lets you know your in a truck. If I could quantify how much more stiff I will rank it about 30% with my uncalibrated butt.

 

Is the handling better with stiffer suspension?

 

Nice truck! I have my 5100s at the same setting and same wheels. What did you use for painting your center rings red? Im thinking about making mine black but not sure what will hold up. Possibly plastidip

 

I haven’t noticed any difference in handling.

 

I used plasti dip. That way I can change it easy. I am thinking about doing s metal treatment. Like a red powder coat or real paint. Nice looking taco!
