John, what thermostat are you using. Same one you had in there before the radiator install or did you swap it to something different?

Thx Tor, I was just coming to post.
I don't remember which one I did first but the radiator increases cooling efficiency but will not lower the temperature unless the stock radiators cooling capacity is exceeded.
The lower thermostat will lower the operating coolant temp but is dependent on a good radiator to remove the heat.
The lower the temperature delta between outside air temp and engine temp requires a more efficient radiator.
So when it's 30 outside and your engine is 170 the delta is 140. Easy to cool the engine.
When it's 115 outside and your engine is 170 your delta is only 55. This requires a better, bigger, or more efficient radiator to keep the the engine at 170.
Another example is cooling a warm beer. Put two beers in the fridge with a starting temp of 100 and we want it to be 40! 60 degree delta. The time it takes the beer to get to 70 will be much quicker than from 70 to 40.
Sorry, I've had a few and may be rambling!:D

Or put the beer in the freezer. It will get cold faster, but if you forget about it, it blows up.

Thanks man, sorry, I did see this last night and forgot about it. I’m about to place my order for my radiator.

I found the thermostat on eBay nice and cheap and also bought the URD adaptor.....now to find a decently priced 70mm throttle body.

76mm can be easier to find and I have tinkered with them some.15214221472211455725503.jpg
See the adjustment screw? It is covered with epoxy from the factory. Chip away the epoxy, Mark the set screw for future reference, the turn counter clockwise one complete 360 degree turn. This closes off the butterfly some which eliminates the super high idle people have issues with. The ecu adapts much quicker because it doesn't have to compensate as much. I just dropped some locktite on top of it after adjusting which is what you see in the pic around the adjustment screw.

That screw strips easily as you can see. I tapped in a torx bit because I had stripped the Allen key. I got my tb for $50 because the plastic cover was chipped.
