Don't know if this info has already been posted. Country of manufacture/origin by VIN for ALL vehicles:

VIN's starting with 1, 4, or 5 are made in the USA
VIN's starting with 2 are made in Canada
VIN's starting with 3 are made in Mexico
VIN's starting with J are made in Japan
VIN's starting with KL thru KR are made in South Korea (there are 3 other countries that have a K prefix in the VIN.)

There is also a designation for Australia but I cannot remember it off the top of my head.

San Antonio Texas! I think my truck is a closet hipster. I worry about its proximity to Austin. The weird might rub off.

VIN's starting with the number 6 are made in Australia. VIN's that start with the number 7 are made in New Zealand.

Who would of thought. The Toyota CH-R is made in Turkey? Average wage in Turkey like Mexico is $2.00 an hour. No Thank you. Who buys a car in the U.S. made in Turkey?

Toyota begins production of C-HR in Turkey for export to Europe, U.S.
SAKARYA, Turkey -- Toyota Motor today launched production of its C-HR small SUV in Turkey and said the model would be exported to all global markets including North America.

That is an interesting read, I would have never thought of Turkey as a hub for auto manufacturing

    Me too.
    Things change no doubt.
Two top end, most widely used cameras used by pros, Canon, Nikon.
Remember when Honda made and shipped those 2 seater rice beater cars to the US....grew to one of the most bought cars in the US, Accord......and then the higher end Lexus, and Accura.
Now a days car parts are outsourced/manufactured all over the world and assembled in plants.
My 2016 and 2017 TRD OR Made in Mexico.

They make and export some pretty awesome tactical shotguns....I have one...gas vented like a Benelli but at 1/3rd the cost.

On the subject of manufacturing....Lots of parts etc are manufactured in multiple countries and many times ‘final assembly’ is in a particular country for a whole lot of different reasons, money of course, tariffs, taxes, banking, import/export laws etc, etc.
For instance parts made in Russia, sent to Cyprus (off shore banking community), assembled in Cyprus (they can now stamp their product as Made in Great Britain) and hence avoid some tariffs and even being restricted or banned in some other countries.
A interesting book to read that explains a lot of the cross technologies, how the world has changed in regards to being somewhat one world:
