Unfortunately, due to Sunday obligations, it looks like ill have to go do my own thing on Saturday.

 

Does anybody have ADS 2.5 with resi? I kinda want them and would like to see them

 

Just got off the phone with the WV office of natural resources. They said that if the gates are closed you cant go down that trail. then I asked about the trails that didn't have gates and she said that youd have to look on the map to make sure there vehicle trails and if they are then u can go in there. she said camping is open year around and often the gates are closed because theres no hunting season. so its up to y'all what u wanna do im good either way.

Well, I am just not sure where the one or two trails that I saw with no gates even lead to. He'll, they may only go a few hundred feet into the woods and stop for all I know. Guess we should make a definite plan to hit either flagpole or green ridge

Yea, I could probably do that. Looks like at least as close, if not closer, to where I need to be on Sunday am. Is it PreRunner friendly?

I dont have skids or sliders. Im ok getting stuck in mud, etc, just dont want to break the truck.

 

It’s in western md. Most of it is prerunner friendly. Depending on conditions there may be a few spots that would be tough to get up

 

is this the new St John trail? I saw some rocks but they may have bypasses?

Haha some of them are a bit longer but nothing like bald mountain if you’ve ever been there haha. There is one hill slightly off camber with a huge rut that could be sketchy in a prerunner haha

I’m not sure about that trail. Doesn’t sound familiar. I don’t remember any technical trails. The only really tough spots were the hills.

 

from what im find the green ridge trail is permanently and the st johns trail replaced it. I can call and make sure and see what we need to do some every1 can come how many people are camping and how many off roading

 

Ok, well that may be an issue. I need to be gone by 9am on Sunday and if i cant confidently make that happen alone then im not gonna be able to join.
