Yeah we weren’t on the OHV trail, just fireroads with some more challenging spots throughout.

We can pick a spot that you’ll be able to get out of. There are a ton of spots, most accessible by fire roads o you should be good to get out

It's just forest roads, not real wheeling. Very pre runner friendly from what I saw there.

There used to be an actual ORV park in Green Ridge. That closed. The trails that we normally hit at Green Ridge are just trails kept up by the park rangers, mostly fireroads and light trails. There is a ranger station that we normally use as the meeting point. I believe this is what @113tac is talking about. It has campsites spread throughout it and is prerunner friendly for the most part as long as its not wet. There is a $10 fee for a campsite that you pay at the ranger station.

Edit: You can also pick up a map of the park at the ranger station to use to follow trails and find campsites and overlooks.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
I'm good with it, as long as we aren't breaking their rules. Don't wanna get chased out, and on some black list.

Its only a little further than sleepy creek and easy access for all vehicles for camping at the best spots on river. There are 3 spots that could fit a bunch of us and 2 spots right next to each other. There are other camp spots and a few 4x4 only trails and lots of other roads to explore especially if there is snow! its only $10 to camp per spot and you just sign up and drop money in slot box at ranger station. Spot 81/ 82 or 84 would be best for us and it would more than accommodate our vehicles and tents/RTT plus have a great view and fire pit for a keg party. I was just out there several weeks ago with the family.

so from what i remember there is an older off road park / trail area that is closed that is not where we would be. We would be just in the state park and mostly forest service roads and some 4x4 only roads but almost all is prerunner friendly unless super wet and snow (still managebale with some speed and good tires) and some of the hills would be tough but fun. But camping there is worth it at the spots I mentioned. @EatSleepTacos has been many times and is the one who told me the spots to look for and he was right.
