    Nothing to crazy but these are the two heaviest loads my truck had hauled. I don't know the weight though.

    New flooring for the house and a load of fire wood.

    This is not a first gen, but I do drive one now. It was a pain in the ass to bring home. The air flowed through the bed and pulled every thing out the tail gate of the bottom bed. It was a tornado of air. I had pulled over 3 or 4 times before I finally took every thing out of the bed. You know, what you usually drive around with, garbage, tie downs, ect.

    The bed was a snug top display model. It had never been on a truck. It had some wholes drilled in it for mounting the snug top. Other than that it was a 9.85 out of 10, mint. I got it for 500.00. I thought about flipping it like you mentioned, but I didn't want to put a scratch on it, LOL.
