yeah, shits gonna go down when a weather channel or NOAA truck rolls into town. Lived on Deefield Beach in FL for a little while, TWC showed up with Hurricane OTW, we bolted

 

yeah we know far too well here in Alabama how this goes down...

is it expected to come all the way to you guys too?

As a weather nerd, that is a very famous truck.

I don't like the "Threat of strong tornadoes" comment in the forecast. That's the same thing they said in April 2011

 

Weather nerd are we in the so called red blob of death? Michigan boy here, we get tornados but nothing crazy like here. Currently renting a double wide with no shelter and ill be at work while wife and kids are home. Hows our area looking.

Make sure they are very weather aware with a shelter nearby. Yall should be safer down further south, but none the less stay aware.

 

The town shelter is a badass building and its a mile away. Ill make them live there tonight if i have to. School just called and said there letting out at 1

 

@tweakit88 if you draw a line from Geiger AL to Auburn, the area north of that line is greatest chance of severe weather

 

Not a good place for the wife and kids to be. Have an escape plan, ALWAYS.

 

Of course, as we all know, weather doesn't follow lines so pretty much everybody in Alabama/Georgia/Florida Panhandle needs to pay attention to the weather today.

 

You are within the area of concern for today. Definitely have a plan in case your area goes under tornado warning.

I wouldn't take a chance on it. If the West Blocton area goes under warning, get your family to the shelter (and try to find a way to get your truck in there).

 

Im about 30 miles north of that line. So guess i need to keep a very close eye
