Hey, as much as I want to, I really didn't have time going out to Off Road, but I really want to check this place out:

    http://www.pineypower.com/offroading.htm
    http://www.pineypower.com/geninfopbpg10.html
    http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/wharton.html#camp
    http://maps.njpinebarrens.com/#lat=40.26922193416676&lng=-75.81527918036875&z=9&type=terrain&gpx=

That's just to give you an idea where it is and stuff. Few guys go to Pines from time to time, but they don't really advertise it much around here. Now, Subway Lux and few others did trips somewhere in Northern NJ, which might be closer to you. Unfortunately I don't know where they went, but it looked like bunch of "fun". Sorry I can't be more helpful

I’m going to start a regional thread where it’s OK to talk about how it’s not OK to talk about stuff in the regional threads.

Someone would just ruin it by talking though.

Not much yet. Trying to find info for some good spots to off road. @BastekFX found some info on Wharton State Forest and West Milford. I know of Robert Moses in LI which is only 20 min from my friend and will get my permit for IBSP in Seaside Park, NJ in the next month or two. Would like to set up a Tacoma meetup towards the end of April.

I understand that the FJ Northeast guys are holding a meet at AOAA and Rausch sometime in April. The AOAA is the 25-29 I believe. Why dont we grab a few Tacomas and show the FJs we know how to wheel too?

Guess this is a good thread to post this: Taking the wife and kids to Philadelphia for a the weekend, but not in the Tacoma. Anyone been in the past few years? I haven't been in about 20 or 30 years, so not sure what to expect, except for a really bad parking experience, so we plan on driving to the hotel, and taking the bus hopper around the city. Any tips or tricks for those familiar with the city? My wife's co-worker talked about bringing a cooler so we could go to the meat market since they have a great selection up there. Again, no idea. I'm sure the wife has an agenda of the typical touristy type stuff, but if anyone has some off-the-beaten-path information, I would appreciate it.
