Thanks. I have Clazzio's installed now but I'm looking at replacing the seat (I don't like the form) - or replacing the truck!

    :lalala:

    NOOOOOOO.......................

I can't entertain such madness. That truck looks too damn sweet to replace. :mudding:

I'm betting there is something that a custom upholstery shop can do with the factory seat and those super looking Clazzio covers.

With all the memory foam, hard foams, polymer goodness that came from Area 51 crash site :alien:.......somehow they can customize your seat to your arse & back and find a great fit for you.

There's gotta be a way they can help. I work with a dude who is fool over his leather recliner....a big dude. He talks about this chair like it's a beloved member of the family.....like one of the good dogs or something.

He referred to it as The Beast for years.

It was one of those things you hear someone mention and it just sticks.

Last year I was planning on some spine surgery and not sure about my recovery digs at home. He put me on the semi-local store where my own "The Beast" could be obtained. In a bold move, I made the journey.....bought her home and set her up in the spot where my wife had a really nice looking leather chair.....looked great....not that comfortable for me.

She balked when she came home and saw this horrid looking recliner. Massive like a king's thrown. Looks ridiculous in our small den. A few days later It was joined by a 4K flatscreen that is too big for the room.

I recovered from that surgery in comfort.

The Beast is, indeed, a beloved family member now and the wife KNOWS it's here to stay.

When I wear it out.....I'll have that next level Area 51 polymer stuffing conjured up by the local refurnished wizards :spy: and never tell her what's up. My Beast will be here when I retire from work life in a dozen years.....and then start living my Willie Nelson life. :rasta:

Gardening, grilling, fishing, hunting and having Lab puppies and grandkids underfoot at every step.

I'll likely need to get my truck seats tweaked then, too.

Do you have any photos showing how you attached the lights to the inside of the topper?

Nice! Waiting for it to get warmer here in Minnesota before I put my CBI sliders on. How did the install go?

Installed the kicker tweeters and while at it, re-routed the USB power cable to my dashcam. Tucked it under the headliner and then ran the cord down the channel next to (out of the way of) the passenger side curtain airbag. There is an opening in the dash, under the plastic trim that you take off to put the tweeter in, that you can drop your USB cable down and jiggle it around and you can fish it out of an opening at the bottom of the dash. Then run the cord to the center console and tuck it in the groves and it stays in place with no need for tape. I then just plug it into the Cig lighter adapter.

Is that an HS AAL? I've never seen someone install it without cutting off the rear leaf retainer.

Not too bad. There was two of us working on it and if it wasn’t for the beverages we would’ve finished quicker. Once you get it jacked up you’ll see where to bolt it on.

Other than wiring it up to be hot all the time, was it pretty much plug and play? Do the oem plugs on the back plug into the blue sea unit?

Did you get all the videos? I thought everything was explained great. I came across no issues with the exception of grounding my switch. Where they showed grounding to a post I did not have a nut there so I just went elsewhere.
