Google-Home-[1].jpg How do you get this to play songs from your IPhone?

My wife's friend bought one and wants me to set it up for her.

I would think you would need to pair it via Bluetooth. Just a guess.

I believe you can put chromecast on the iphone and it'll work through the google home. My wife has an iphone and plays music through teh google home this way. She set her phone up, so I'm not 100% sure the process.

Chromecast is already on my android phone so it's easy for me to play through the google home.

Google home, I'm not sure why people are so eager to allow this stuff into their homes.

I got an Amazon Dot for Christmas 2 years ago. It's still in the box. I can't understand why people would put any of these things in their house. They listen and record everything they hear (unless you turn them off, then what's the point?). The whole Internet Of Things freaks me out and is just crazy.

FBI : Why sneak into a house to install a "bug" when they will buy them willingly.

I have 5 Google Home Minis at my house and we use iPhones. You download the Google Assistant app on the phone. It'll find the Google Home when you turn it on. The app will let you link up apps like Spotify, Pandora, or Google Play Music. You can also connect Netflix, Nest products, Phillips Hue, Wemo, Roomba ... all those types of things just having their app and the Google Assistant app. Ping me if you need help.
