I would get the cam tab gussets and have them weld that one side at the very least since they’re already cutting and welding. The rest get done by summer.

So these cam tab gussets, do they completely replace the tabs and back piece of the OEM cam stuff? It looks like it from the product pictures and pics of @EatSleepTacos

In other words, the old stuff would have to be completely removed, drill out spot welds, weld new piece in its place.

That could work! I'm off the 20th so I could come up that day before as well.

Correct. The easiest way is to take an angle grinder and grind a little cut in between the frame and the old tab. Then take an air chisel and it will rip it off in about 30 seconds. Then just clean it up with a flap disc and you’re ready to weld.

I bought an air chisel for $13 from harbor freight and it worked awesome to get them off.

Sara was struck by a truck this morning while walking to class, I was working over an hour away but left work early and am now back home with her, the er took x rays and nothing is broken, the guy got out and asked if she was ok but then left before giving her any info or before officers arrived. She's sore and tired and we're documenting any bruising. Looks like I'm on nurse duty for the next few days.

Thanks guys, luckily she's tough, it really sucked that I was so far away. I'll give her your wishes.

Today is so nice I decided to chop up my truck in preparation for the 295s. Going to pick up cmc plates from mobtown and weld them on next week sometime.

Also going to hammer my pinch weld while I have my tire off.

You don't even need to close it back off if you don't want to. Just cut all of that shroud away.
