    Running Falken Wildpeak AT3's 265/75 R16 (Stock wheels hand-painted) no spacers!
    2" OME Medium lift kit with Dakar leaf pack in back
    However, I will likely got to 255/85 R16 next because of taller tire, but better gas mileage due to slightly less friction with a 1/2" drop in width and weight diff. Wider does not equal better for off-roading. In fact, slimmer tires often perform better in icy conditions (just FYI)

    Depends on what you want to do...

    I off-road my rig, trail ride and sometimes get into some decent angles. I REALLY like my Old man emu 2” lift medium kit with new Dakar leaf packs. I got the whole kit for $1100 from Lowrange OffRoad. I also got new Light Racing upper control arms which I personally believe are a must when lifting a rig. Aftermarket UCAs not only improve the travel response and full potential of your shocks but also make the turning radius of the truck better which is really nice in tight spots.

    That said, I would save a few more bucks and get something that you can throw on and be done for a long time...you will also be happier. The rough country stuff is OK, but before long you will want to replace it with something that rides better and performs better for not that much more $.

    Be aware that no matter what lift you do on these 3rd gen tacomas, you will get a driveline vibration which can be alleviated (mostly) with carrier bearing spacers, axle shims, and TSB fixes like the clamshell bushing in the front driver CV. I have done all these to mine and the vibration is there only between 36-43mph (it is less with the ECT on because of higher RPMs)

    Sorry for the long post, but my advice is to get a decent to great quality suspension lift when you spend $30-40k on a rig. My total lift was $1700 with the UCAs, install was $450. Just my thoughts

    Thanks for the info, most of my driving is highway with mild off road use crossing the pasture, low water crossings pretty light stuff. Mainly looking to just improve the stance.

    Then keep your stock suspension and get spacers. The bilsteins that come on your rig are better than that rough country stuff

    Lift has been on for about 20k Miles with no driveline vibrations. I did recently start to get a steering wheel shake within 57-63 mph. Hoping this is just an alignment or balancing issue but I do have the ECGS bearing sitting at home from when I first installed the lift and got lazy.

    No problem in the rear, the front I had to just do a little trimming on the fender liners and a small corner of the bumper on the bottom side. No cab mount rubbing but I did have it aligned with 0 toe, 0 camber, and 2.4 caster
