Just saw my first Robin of the year. Not much yard without snow in it and don't think it is going to find any worms there. But it is here. Up to 46 deg. the son just asked if he could turn off the heat and open some windows it is 71 inside the house. Please do, I'm hot also.

Could be the smell of the lunch I just cooked though. The onions and peppers smoked yesterday cooked in cut up bacon. And a split smoked Italian sausage cooked in the bacon grease. With mayo on a bun, didn't need anything else with it.

It would require cutting the walkway and the retaining wall and the roots cover the whole yard
Good eye, the 100 mph winds broke half of the tree. It has never been the same. Lack of leaves are because it just started blooming from winter.

Well it was another loooooong Monday, but it is over. Our little flirt with spring is coming to an end, cold with rain/snow mix for the rest of the week.

same here... the 2 feet of snow in my pasture is down to a foot or so, but the pile off the barn roof is still 8 feet high and apparently it could snow this Thursday at the valley bottoms.

Good evening all. Got severe weather in our area and it's supposed to get sporty a little later. Just hope no tornadoes and power outages.

Since you were all so kind as to allow me to skip the entrance exam... I need to confess a few things upfront LOL

    1. I named my truck Arnold
    2. I like sheep (don't tell this Kevin dude; and no, not like that...)
    3. I discovered among the info display in my truck, that I have a tippy meter and the thought of driving somewhere that it was useful scares the crap outa me
    4. I am a shortass and can barely climb into my truck now, so can't quite comprehend the apparent joy of a "lift kit"
    5. I have never owned a 4x4 before, I have only had all wheel drive Subaru Foresters, so this is a new kinda system
    5. If you haven't already guessed... I'm a girl... and I'm not the least bit mechanical, but when it comes to living things I know stuff ;)

but in my favor is the fact that I love to talk about my truck, almost more than talking about sheep...

and my name is not jaap, but I have been to the NL and no I'm not Dutch

Jaapsheep is actually a cartoon character in the NL, a bit of an odd duck... which kinda suits ;)
