Had a day off work and took the opportunity to armour-up my Taco !!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Tough & thirsty work.

















Okay.....truth be told....I was a lazy bum and simply rested and recovered.


I did armour-up my keys in hopes they will last as long as I plan on keeping this truck.


Primary is the white one.....need to whittle down what all those damn keys are and jettison the uneeded ones. They sorta collected after a decade plus with the last truck. Spare key got some love, too.





















No clearance problems.....just a nice padded key fob. All controls work just fine...and the alarm button is somewhat more guarded, thankfully. I've fumbled and hit it by accident a time or two before now. Neighbors must love it when that happens.

Seems like every other 3rd Gen owner is running this setup but nobody ever posts a video of the lights in action. Found the darkest road I can find in my neck of the woods and took some dash cam footage.

What did you tie into for the grill lights to come on with the other ambers lights?
I have mine tied into the headlights, but want to run them during the day with only the other amber lights...any help??

 

I know pictures or it didn't happen but I didn't take any yet, but I put the floor mat locks on my passenger side mat and did my wife's 17 Camry passenger side while I was at it. Pretty easy to do, took a 13/16(I think) socket and I
Used it as a template to cut the holes with an exacto knife in the mat, snapped the two halfs together and screwed the toggle lock thing into carpet. No more mat all the way under the frigging dash.
