    it's really hard on the back and requires specific equipment and training... I'd rather hire a shearer than learn. Kinda like getting a farrier to do your horse's feet... so hard on the back, and best left to the pros IMO :) farming is hard enough

    @jaapsheep

    @Tacoma Mike I am not sure if it is the same as Alpaca's I have helped my friends who own an alpaca farm shear one or two for medical etc reasons. Talk about a goat rope lol . I have also helped when they have the pro shearer come in to do the whole herd less than 5 min he is done with each one takes longer to get them in position tied off and untied then it takes him to shear, trim hooves, and grind teeth and his assistant is whacking them with a needle full of various stuff. When the shear this year if they ask me to help I will try to video one being done. Btw standing there while they grind the teeth think dentist office times 1000 lol

    thanks for the tips DoorDing! (BTW my truck still has none and I still park at the far end of parking lots LOL). I did read in the manual about driving in 4WD to keep it lubricated, it also definitely feels cool... like it might just go anywhere... perhaps I have caught some sort of bug ;)

    No worries not even sure it is the same figured @jaapsheep would correct me if it wasn't , they call the cut they do "table cloth" the way it comes off Is one big piece from middle of the legs to the base of the neck and mid belly up and around. The legs and neck is not done as close to the skin as the rest and they leave that poodle looking puff ball on top of their heads lol they look funny as hell. Oh and people will tell you alpacas don't spit only lamas do yeah that is a lie they can and do spit or snot on you when they are mad.

    That is your problem. Install a straight run of RG-6 from antenna to booster or tv whichever is the case. And use good compression connectors, not cheap crimp type.
