    OK. Havent put my new stuff on the truck yet but I did put the AAL into the Dakar leaf pack. thought I would post up some picks for anyone who needs to do it later. Install AAL Dakar. Dakar AAL install. Dakar extra leaf <-- hopeful hits for the people who search

    First thing, get some big honkin C clamps and put them on either side of the center pin

    Remove the center pin

    Next remove the screw that goes through the limiter piece

    Slowly remove c lamps. here is what it looks like afterwards

    Grease up the AAL, top and bottom

    Slide it in so that it becomes the new 3rd leaf from the top. It sits on top of a stock leaf that looks the same as the AAL does. Thank you godfather!

    Make sure you line up the holes for the center pin before you crank way down on it with the C clamps.

    I just wanted the extra height and weight and it wasn't that much more expensive. Side note, you DO NOT need a new center pin. The one that comes with the packs is plenty long for the AAL too.

    I didn't have to cut my pin because the U-Bolt flip plate went right over it and so did the bump stop.
