I can't leave anything well enough alone
I know you are talking about checking full compression, touching the bumpstop. But in some cases (this may be one) full compression isn't the worst case scenario. I cannot even simulate my truck at full compression, the whole thing lifts prior to contact even though I can (and have) hit the bumpstop in operation. Regardless, in the picture, the concern is the shackle contacting the hanger, which happens when the leaf is flattest, not negative arch / full compression ... and all the deflection of real world has to be accounted for somehow...

Yep I'm fully aware how leaf springs work. And none of the trucks we tested touched the hanger I know there is bound to be a spring that is not compatible with the shackles.

Break the leaf pack down to just the main leaf and you can simulate real world bump, droop, and flex

If you are really worried about the shackle contacting the hanger and don't want to break down the leaf pack, you can simulate the whole thing with nothing but a piece of string that doesn't stretch (I use 550 cord) and a sharpie. And this method works regardless of spring pack manufacture.

Tie the string to the front leaf spring bolt
Trace the main leaf curvature with the string all the way back to the rear leaf spring/shackle bolt and mark the string at the center of the bolt and mark the string a second time at the backside of the shackle. This will give you overall length of the spring eye-to-eye (first mark) and maximum rearward length (second mark).
Pull string rearward and taut along the shackle rotation axis and see if the second mark is anywhere near the shackle hanger.
    Easy peasy

That said, I've broken down a few different aftermarket leaf packs for these trucks. These packs are fairly short with minimal arch and the factory geometry doesn't allow for a whole lot of bump travel (which translates to not a whole lot of rearward shackle rotation. Full bump only clocks the shackles back about 15 degrees. One more photo I found on my phone that shows the shackle rearward as far as the leaf pack allows for (if you squint you can see it).

You can pick the nuts up at any hardware store. They are 1/2 x13 nylocks and are about .50 cents each. Scan the receipt and email it to me I'll credit you for them.

Or I can send them out and you will get them in a few days.

@JLee 2 questions for you, all my hardware appears to be correct, no issue there. However, I loosely assembled them and.... One side is so tight that I could barely get the shackle down in the hanger, it took a good bit of force. Once in there and the bolt loosely threaded on, the shackle barely wants to rotate back and forth. Doesn't this kinda negate the fact that these should rotate back and forth freely and eliminate the torsion bushing?
2nd question. The other side rotates freely as I imagine it should, however, the shackle is hitting the hanger and binding before I think I would hit full droop. The shackle should be clear of the hanger from its upright position all the way to full droop, correct?20180319_152835.jpg above picture is where it is contacting.
Next pic is of the other side that will rotate all the way down but it takes a good bit of force to cycle it.

Your leaf pack appears to be making a "w".... what pack is that? How much weight you running in the bed?

That's some crazy shit! I've actually been impressed with my ap expo springs despite the hate. Always planned on a deaver pack once these wore out but that's got some funk to it

Any time frame for having all the shackles shipped out? I'm going to be tinkering with my rear suspension and trying to plan on fitting the shackles while I'm tinkering but have yet to receive a tracking notice.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

They are not going to rotate freely by hand when torqued down so don't worry about that part. The contact on the hanger shouldn't be happening also you would have to have way more down travel then the spring over can achieve to get the shackles to swing that forward.

So if the contact is only happening on one hanger, is there something going on that I'm missing? Why are they not the same on each? Do I need to install these bad boys and just check everything after and get back to you? Its hard to believe that the contact won't limit my droop but there's no way to really tell until they are installed and flexed out. Just want to make sure that if there's an issue after install that ill be able to still get it corrected.

The corner gets sanded after welding the weld might not of gotten knocked down as much. If you have enough droop to contact that corner and I highly doubt you do I'll swap it out for you as it should just clear that corner.
