I just bought a 2018 TRD Pro with the Fox suspension factory installed. I am interested in raising the ride hight a few inches, and was reading through all the threads I could find on lifts and what have it. Does anyone know what Fox shocks are under this truck other then the description "Fox 2.5" internal bypass shocks", and do I have the ability to raise the ride hight like some of the threads explain with aftermarket installed Fox suspension systems, or am I going to have to invest in an all new set up.

No adjusting the stock pro suspension. New setup or add blocks are your only options.

In that case can adding blocks create problems with the alignment, suspension, or the CV joints?

Many people run blocks with no issues, others have had issues. I've never ran them so I cant say from experience. Some state the ride is worse with blocks while others love it. Someone else can provide more info. Alignment will need to be adjusted as with any lift, not sure on problems with suspension but i think blocks can put more stress on the front coils and CV joints wont be any different from a regular lift. Once again I'm no expert about blocks but my info should be pretty accurate. I'm sure someone can find something wrong with what i've said. If you off road most will say skip the blocks and just upgrade the front and throw on a AAL for the back.

Congrats on your truck! If I had a Pro I would leave it stock. If you want to change things you would benefit financially to sell your Pro and buy a lower model and MOD from there. Or you’re rich and don’t care, which is cool, enjoy it, give someone a sweet deal on your stock suspension!

I bought the Revtek (TRD Pro specific) kit for my Pro. Which is a 1.5" spacer in the front and a 1.25" AAL for the rear. Works fine for me right now. I just put the JBA UCA's on this afternoon and it drives great. I will probably rip that suspension out in about 6 months and install the new Bilstein 8112/8100 just cause they look sweet.

Don't do it. 3" is the max you can go on these trucks without changing ALOT of stuff. Why did you buy a PRO just to change it? Good as is unless you are rock crawling

Fellow Pro-owner here....I would advise going for any sort of spacer/block lift. What I would do is sell your stock suspension and buy some Fox 2.5s/AAL. Thats what I did. The stock Pro suspension is a hot item on TW to sell ($1600ish easy)

Need to invest in new set up.

Your suspension is not adjustable like others.

For what it's worth what you paid could've got you an off-road with all the same computer stuff and then use the money you saved to buy a much better lift like I did.

I have nothing to hate about my truck. My OME and Dakars suit my needs just fine and am quite happy with it over my stock OR suspension.
Because its his truck and his money. If he wants it to be lifted some then more power to him.

Enjoy your stock set up. Your truck can handle a lot of trails stock. If you are looking for a a quick lift, look at getting larger tires (255/85/16 is a 33 and should fit with your stock set up)

Pretty sure he meant to say that he doesn't advise doing blocks, because he goes on to suggest swapping the stock setup for adjustable 2.5 coilovers instead.

    never said he cant...
just that with the premium you pay for nothing more than leather interior, an ugly ass badge and a few other looks things and special colour. There's nothing worth it out of the pro.

If it came with a supercharger or front locker sure plenty would be all over it.
But considering its just suspension not really worth it if you want to modify. Keep the extra coil and just use that. Especially if you're going to wheel.
