Sorry to here that, hope things go well.
My oldest, Star is almost 12 and last fall I dug her hole just in case she didn't make it through the winter. Coco is keeping her going.

    Hope she feels better fast

:( I know the feeling.... Annie is 12 and 3 months - oldest dog I've ever had. Rest have all gone about 11, give or take a few months :( She's still going strong. every day that she keeps on going for a while longer.

I could of answered that quiz! :D

Thanks for posting that Rick. When I was stationed on the East Coast was in Portsmouth, Norfolk and Little Creek. In all the years I was in the Tidewater area never seen that view of Norfolk, I was always sea and anchor detail either on the throttles or Engineering watch.

Looks like they put oil booms around the ships at all times now not just when refueling. Kind of hard to evaporate water out of the bilges with the bilge pump at night without getting caught with those damn things in place

I did that with the then family dog back about 10 years ago, she made it to 17. Was so afraid she would pass and couldn't dig a hole to bury her on the property where she belonged. Hope Coco keeps her going as long as possible Dan.

Smart move on her part. She still has to work on her interpersonal skills with her co-workers Micromanaging professional workers is not a effective way to get the job done.

My favorite base in the Tidewater area. Well there are some strange people that came on from time to time to inhabit the gators...

I only carry a kit for the dogs. If a person needs patched up, they're wearing their bandages and I have my pocket knife.

Good evening folks. 11 hour day, 5 more to go. I may take Thursday off though. One of the guys my wife works with bought a new AR and wants to go dial it in and my wife still hasn't shot the pistol I bought her for Christmas. So if I can get far enough ahead, I may take Thursday off and go play...maybe break out the Contender and the .308. The stuff I got done today I thought would take the better part of 2 days, so I'm already 1 up.

I might say the same about 4x4 trucks Mike... it's always good to learn something new. Animals do not cooperate but understanding how they react can make things go more smoothly. The alpacas are a crazy bunch compared to sheep... I wouldn't want to be shearing those guys!
