Went up to Mormon emigrant today. Complete shit show. Spent most the time pulling out F250s with 50 pounds of air in there tires. Road was straight ice, had a truck nearly slide into me, as well as my truck was having fuel injection issues. Died randomly twice and wouldn’t start.

That looks amazing up there! What lake is that in your pics Charlie? From the way you guys are describing the area it sounds like you went through or past that area I was telling you about (Rock Creek OHV trails).

I’m really looking forward to dry/warmer weather so I can join in on something like this!

Sweet, that’s exactly the place I was talking about then. Probably a different route and I know nothing about Uncle Tom’s, but Mosquito Road up to Stumpy Meadows is the next adventure I have in mind when weather is suitable.

You're best bet is to bite the bullet and get @Bentrodder to do this for you. Minimal charge, and it's a quick job. Worth it.

@TOP TACO yeah, I considered hanging mine, but didn't have small enough trees near my shop to do anything like you did. My method did have some oversights though. I was able to get between them, to paint the inside (top, once mounted), but it got tedious doing the limbo over and over again. I would have preferred having the top of the sliders facing outward, but the orientation of the frame-mounts made this mounting make more sense. It would have been nice to swing them around to get the sun out of my eyes when I was spraying, but after they're both mounted to the wood, the entire thing is rather hard to move around.

It looks like @Bentrodder is is a couple hours away from me, and @little squirt is probably just under an hour.

FWIW i don’t know how to do either but I would love to be involved. Always looking to learn more, meet more people, be helpful, etc. I can see doing several things involving drivetrain in the future (locker, 4w conv.) so even getting an idea of how much work it is to DIY is helpful. And if I remember correctly i’m really close to your neighborhood (i’m In College Glen).
