So I had purchased a set of the low profile Avs vent shades a couple months after i bought my truck. I had noticed recently that the centers of the rear shades kept getting closer to the glass. They eventually started to vibrate on the glass and became annoying. So I figured I would contact them through their website and see what happens. To my surprise they contacted me extremely quick and asked for a couple pictures. With in 5 minutes of me sending pictures they asked for my address so they could send me a new set. Awesome and unexpected. I figured i would share a good experience. Here's a couple pictures of what was happening.

Those are very low profile, I like them. I had some Weathertechs on my '07 and they stuck out a lot more than that.

I may have to consider these, thanks!

I've had mine on for two years now, no issues, and they are low profile I can barely get underneath it to wipe the glass with my wash mutt.

You had a defect, it happens I feel for you, I'd be upset too.
But they made good on the product (seems rare now a days) and stood behind it, good to know and thanks for the info!

    Cheers!

Yes. They replaced with the exact same part number. So I have an extra set of fronts in case I mess them up or something happens to them.

I wish they'd had these out when I bought mine. I've been generally happy with the ones I have but they do stick out more so I get a slight bit more wind noise on the front part than i'd like sometimes but otherwise they have been quite solid and are holding up nicely after a year. If/when they do wear out I'll be going this route no doubt!

Here's what I have if folks looking for a cheaper more traditional design: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018AIGLSI/ref=psdc_15735641_t1_B01AIFTSEU

I think these things are extremely ugly, no matter what vehicle or color or size.

Ya, not or have never been big on these either. But it's my last resort to kill this trumpet player on my passenger window.. Plus the benefits of them wheelin in muck and water with the windows down a crack. Also, my prinsu rack holds onto water after a wash and when I corner with the windows open its a waterfall..

Okay, maybe I am too picky but when I order something new I expect it to not have scratches or blemishes in the finish. Here is my 2 cents on AVS (LUND) products and packaging. I have ordered 5 AVS products with 2 of them twice to try and get a good set that even looks new. I don't like the idea of sticking something to outside of my door trim like the version for a 2014 does. Now if you have 2016 and up then the low profile has the in channel option which I wish was an option for the 2014 (I checked the links above but 2016 or newer for that model which look great). I ordered the type that is in channel with tape, but not called low profile, in the channel and they don't stick out very far compared to the low profile (not much diff at all) but they have the AVS packing scratches all over them. I was even going to try their rock and bug guard for the front since I just had the hood painted but those are even more messed up with scratches and blemishes (really looks like smoke in the finish with swirls and everything). Tried twice to get a new looking rock and bug guard then gave up. Always raining here so I thought some of these AVS ventshades (LUND really) and some of their other products would be great but they cannot finish a product, pack it, and get to your door without it being f'd up. Unless someone knows how to remove scratches and blemishes from acrylic I just keep sending the crap back until I give up. I really do like the product design if it would just make it onto my truck without looking like it was dragged on a street in places.

They could solve this with better packing. Maybe thin film over each shade. I tried ordering it twice and both times they had bunch of scratches. Now waiting on my weathertech to come in. Hopefully no scratches or blemishes.
