Why do ppl put 4x4 stickers / decals on ..

I've seen a few 2wd Tacomas with 4x4 badges on Guam, pretty sure they just want people to think they spent the extra ~$4K for the 4x4 they'd probably never use any way. I get it if someone's just being a smartass (4x4 badge on a Ford Fiesta or Prius) but it's kind of sad when people do it to a 2wd truck. To each their own though.

Wouldn't torque be more useful in most 4x4/low traction situations?

Why do we cut DOWN a tree to chop UP the wood?

 

I do it (above) for the wood to burn in my wood stove to heat my home!-- also The tree falls DOWNward (gravity) and the smoke goes UP

 

Don't know about you guys, but I love stickers, have them my mountain bikes, toolbox, motorcycle, trucks, and just bought that OEM 4x4 emblem for my real TRD OR

My old neighbor did a rebadge on his 1996 F250 PSD 4x4 just to screw with people.

First he converted everything under his truck to match my 1997 F350 PSD 4x4 as far as suspension is concerned.

Then rebadged it as an F150 4x4.

Definitely made you think about what the truck really started out as.

 

It's their belongings, their money, they should be able to do what they want without being ridiculed by others.

They do things that seemed to make sense to them and things you do makes sense to you.

Hell, I don't know. The same reason people put TRD and Pro emblems on non-TRD and Pro Tacomas. Guess you could say their "Faking the Funk". I don't get it myself.
