Not sure how much a camper weights but I would just be careful hanging things from trusses as the bottom cord is under tension and not made to hold too much weight.

I’d imagine they aren’t too heavy I can stand in the middle and pick it up and put it on the truck myself. But was hoping that it being separated between 2 trusses it wouldn’t be too bad. Think maybe a total of 200lb or less.

 

Hhhmmm torn between replacing my rear AAL leaf spring with ALLPRO exp Leaf pack or keeping them and getting hammer hangers. Just for shits and giggles whats everyone think?

 

the real question is, where is everyone getting their leaf springs from? shipping dakars in is expensive...

 

I've been wondering the same thing... Kinda wanna buy a rear setup, kinda afraid to see how much shipping leafs would be.

 

Universal4x4 is doing free shipping to Hawaii on trail gear, low range and allpro products until the end of April. If they weren’t offering that I wouldn’t be thinking of getting leafs. But with shipping costing just as much as the springs themselves it’s hard to pass it up.

 

o shoot. i thought the sale was only allpro. By lowrange products, does that include the OME springs low range sells?

 

Ummm I’d call them and ask. I’d imagine it’s anything off their sites but I could be wrong.... as FUCK. They are good at responding to emails. But phone call is clearly the fastest way

Depends what you are looking for between travel or weight carrying ability..

 

I don’t really carry much weight just just the truck cap when it’s on, camping equipment and lumber every now and again. Was thinking of replacing the leafs because everything I red pretty much says AALs are shit after a few years. And I figured it might improve the ride. And who wouldn’t enjoy more wheel travel

 

Huh I literally just got an email from them and they said the allpros I want are on back order blah blah blah but they can get me “OME part# ARB-EL095R rear springs from Low Range Offroad”

 

Yeah so they emailed me back saying that they doubled checked and that the ARB-EL095R DOES qualify for free shipping!
