Glad @MOC221_ is part of the test group, he has all the issues so hopefully that means everything is rock solid. If not, we know who to blame :):boom:

    Bahahaha, yup!

I'll fall on my dongle if need be.

Now listen loggers - when Mat comes out with the next test file for all to try, this is your chance to provide feedback. TAKE IT. LOG IT. ROCK IT :headbang:.. yeah a little carried away there.

We have his attention for the moment, which is no small feat considering all the work he's had to put into that abomination of a slushbox :D

    Let's git er done.

Saying that he was the one to blame really set a fire under his ass to motivate everyone else to get in on the responsibility lmao

So I logged 1.03C test tune 2 - 87 (04B11) this am and sent to Mat. Yesterday when I initially loaded it I thought I still felt very subtle surging. This morning it felt great, the surging was either so muted I couldn’t feel it or it was gone. I really enjoyed this tune, I think there are still some minor anomalies, but Mat is super close to perfection.

Oh yeah it did lol, and hey.. if everyone is happy with the tune (never happen) that means y'all can bask in the glory of being part of the development. Risk/reward.

Meh, I just want the next file!

Yeah I'm running the 91 version of 1.03C test tune 2 right now on 04B10. I'm assuming he applied the same stutter fix to your file too, it's smooooth.

The upcoming throttle fix felt awesome as far as tip in resolution. You can get and maintain any rpm from idle to 1000 and beyond, steady as a rock. No more hopping around and jumpiness.
We'll just have to wait and see how it does when combined with previous fixes :fingerscrossed:. Mat did say he found the problem.. and I believe that 100%.

Ya I found myself not wanting to stop doing the 5k pulls. Beautiful power delivery even with 87 tune. Happy to not have that annoying stutter/surge.

    Understandable.

I am more then happy with how the truck drives post flash. There are a few tweaks for sure, but they are being hammered out.

I would still recommend getting it anyway. It transformed the truck night and day.

I think it's 100x easier to love the stock OEM tuned manual trans than it is the auto. Sure, you stay higher in the rpms to keep power on tap and to just drive it normally, but for me that wasn't an issue because I like staying a bit higher anyhow. So the manual wasn't necessarily desperately in need of the tuning like the auto. Sure, there were things that we're super happy got resolved by tuning, but I don't think they were a massive issue either. More convenient that they were resolved.

I think, with that in mind, @AFMurse2014 could go ahead and still enjoy a manual trans taco without getting ovtuned, if that's what he wants.
