    Besides, getting it painted gives me an "excuse" to go hang out with @vssman since he's helping me do it, and is going to help me put in the rear window sliding bracket as well. :D

    Nahh probably the same as color matching or less. I plan to paint the inside of my cap with bed coating at some point. It is definitely less work though that I am sure of.
