    Background Info:

I have always wanted to buy a Tacoma since I rode around in my uncles back when I was very young. Fast forward a bunch of years and finally I could afford a 4 door Tacoma. My vehicle before this was a 2009 TDI Jetta that I bought for the fuel mileage and clean diesel technology. Come to find out it wasn't as clean as I thought and Volkswagen started buying them back. I cashed in on the Jetta buyback two weeks after I found my dream truck and the adventure began.

Here is the picture I took on 12-17-16 when I became a proud owner of a 2015 Tacoma DCSB OFF ROAD in MGM with 14k miles. I inspected the heck out of this truck for a few hours when I made the deal, mainly to make the salesman suffer with the cold weather so I could haggle on the price. I could not find any dirt or signs the truck was offroad ever. The truck had Pro Comp shocks with stock pre-loaded springs and lifting blocks for the rear. Tires were BF Goodrich 265/75/R16 KO2's wrapped around Method rims. The small list off needed mods to start was a suspension change and the needle bearing which helped me close the deal at the price I wanted.

    29388693_10155329446321024_5942314045469097984_o.jpg

Since I picked it up on the way back home for the holidays I figured I should get it dirty and play around some since I knew the trails where I grew up.

Yes it was. Between the price and the few mods already I couldn't pass up on it. I have been slacking on making a build thread so bare with me as I update it will all the stuff I have done already

Purchased and installed the Bestop Supertop on 3-25-17. Purchased it thru 4 Wheel Parts because they offered a free tax deal which made it cheaper then anything I could find even online. Smooth transaction and the shipping was fast. Only issue I had was when I went to install the brake light (see 4th picture)
    DSCN1708.jpg DSCN1709.jpg

Picture of the gap before I realized I needed to move the brackets closer to the middle instead of real close to the front and rear of the bed
    DSCN1643.jpg

Finally decided to install the brake light after a few weeks and noticed the cheap Chinese mold was messed up. Emailed Bestop and they sent me out a replacement the following day. I'm keeping this one for the light just incase the new one messes up

Sometimes the cheaper mods are the best and least noticed to the casual looker. I installed these OCD center console and glove box organizers on 2-28-17 and love them. So much better then the mess I created the first two months of owning the truck.

Thank you, I ran out of the big money and will stick with smaller mods for the time being.

Haha, im sure a lot of good ideas keep getting passed around in there tho. Most of mine is built now, just a few random small additions I need to do. I should pull myself away from the patch game to be able to afford those ideas and plans, but that's harder then I think.
