Looks like another gun walked into a school and shot people.

 

All over the news down here. Latest is three people shot, one of which the shooter, taken to hospital and haven't heard any different yet, but no fatalities.

 

So glad to hear no fatalities. I just don't understand how guns & the NRA catches the blame.

 

The school police officer did their job this time.

 

In my opinion , it's always quick and easy to place the blame on someone else.

 

Yeah. I figured as much. Just didn't want you scaring off the other Prerunners.

 

Just heard that the shooter is confirmed dead.

 

I dont feel sorry for the shooter, his family yea i feel sorry for them. I'll never understand what would make someone do something like this. Back when I was a kid I got made fun of a lot because I was overweight with red hair (I'm still overweight just not as much hair lol). Back then we used our fist. With my Irish temper i couldn't wait til after school, i would go off & fight them right there in the classroom. Then 3 days later after suspension, in most cases, we were usually friends.

 

This definitely hits close to home. My wife is a high school teacher. They're all on edge today.

What does she think about arming teachers in the classrooms?

This is a tough one, with a lot of factors involved. Most teachers entered their career to be educators. While teachers are responsible for their students, I think carrying a gun enters a whole new realm of responsibility. My wife knows how to protect herself with a firearm, but I'm not sure she's ready to protect her classroom with one.

Those cops in FL need to take some pointers.

My buddy that lives up on the mountain near me just sent me this pic. I told him to be careful with that Nissan because I won't be up until Friday in case he needs winched out.
