    I was a Boy Scout
    I was an Eagle Scout
    I played 3 sports in High School.
    I belonged to a fraternity while @ Purdue
    I belonged to a different frat @ Rose Hulman
    I am an active member still @ the Moose Lodge
    I belonged to The Knights of Columbus.

    And I spent 4 years in the. ARMY.

    ALL the first group was bound in some capacity.

    None of the first part of that list comes close to the personal commitment and lifetime bond from the final one on the list. Not even a contest.

    One more time....People who have not served in our military have no concept of how we view others who have served. There are factors involved you simply cannot comprehend without being a part of the experiences vets deal with on a day to day basis.

    Claiming to know without actually "being there" is simply a pipe dream.
