What's the best way to seal around the roof rack where it connects to the truck? Just throw some silicone on all the edges I guess?

Installed it today. Ended up just siliconing all down the holes and around them to be safe.

Some tips for any buying this rack, make sure you dry fit your truck before you silicone around the holes haha. I posted before, but my holes in my truck were misalgined and had issues so the dealership had to cut out a piece of metal that was covering part of the holes and then re-tap the screw hole since it wasn't done correctly the first time. Also, found out WD-40 gets silicone off your truck if you get it on the paint.

I installed mine set back a little so that the shark fin is completely unobstructed. The directions wanted it forward more but that clearance left me a little hesitant.

Here are some pics of the mounts for the bed rack. Keep in mind that the tie bar can be mounted either front, or back on the rack and is optional. We tend to load our bed rack up, so we prefer to use it. Plus, it stiffens the bed!

If anyone is wondering about the shark fin antenna here is the spacing with it on the way I have it. Plenty of room.

    None.
Will the bed rack work under a softopper with a tepui tent mounted on it? Looks like it has room on the bed rails. If so I'll order one today.

It will not work under the softopper. The Warrior Bed Rack does use the entire length of the bed rails on the short bed Tacoma. There is about 12" of bed rail remaining on the long bed models.

Now that they've been out quite a while, anyone have anything good or bad to say about the Warrior bed rack?

Mine has been rock solid. I didn't install the cross member because I didn't want to lose any more bed space. I've had no issues.

@WarriorProducts awesome products but you guys need a new website badly. It's not mobile optimized and doesn't have a call to action when you cclic on the specific vehicles. I can put you in touch with someone who can help if you are interested. Love the products but I work in the space and have to help!

Have had mine nearly two years now. The only bad thing I will say about it is that you lose almost all of your bed rail space due to the design of the side panels. You'll have a little room on the front or the back depending on long bed or short bed. If you plan to use the bed rails for other accessories this isn't the rack for you. Otherwise, it's been solid. All the hardware is holding up well. Assembly/disassembly is pretty straightforward. I did use the cross member, put it in the back position. Because this just uses the bed rails for attachment I feel a lot better having it in there due to mounting a rooftop tent on mine.

Thanks... and yes we definitely do need a new website. We are in the process of designing a new website from scratch, which will, of course, be mobile friendly and include many more features to allow users to find parts and information more easily. It's been long overdue, but it's finally happening! We hope to have it complete and launched in June or July so keep an eye out.
