    That’s what mine is normally in 90+ degree temps. 188- 194 depending on rpms and speed

    Yeah but just for a min. If it hits 200 I will starting worrying. Im going to get this radiator soon. I have gotten a lot hotter but I was in 4 lo crawling on rocks in 90+ degree temps. I had to shut the air conditioning off and rev the motor to cool it off

    Mine is 185 at least that’s what my scangauge Says

    Ok, we’ll after reading the description in urd’s kit for the thermo, I see 160 is useless to me because I live in a cold area with long winters. I need 170 I guess. So after buying that kit....I’m good to go as far as changing the thermostat??

    My temps in the winter with the stock thermostat was 185. I installed the URD 170 thermostat kit because it came with my UCON. It also ran at 185. Then I saw @Torspd build page he found a cooler 160 thermostat that fits the URD adapter so I tried it. Temps now in the winter are 168.8 to 178. Hoping to stay at those temps this summer with the new radiator.

    I saw no difference in temps from stock to the 170 YMMV. In 10 degree weather with my 160 thermostat when driving I would see 172 to 178. When idling with the heater on the lowest I see is 168.8. Once again YMMV.

    Fuck....well I think my plan is to install this bad boy (Csf radiator) and see how it runs. Then I’ll swap in a thermo if I need it. If this radiaor will lower the temp to begin with, I may not even need a different thermostat.

    The radiator WILL NOT lower coolant temperature below the thermostats rating. The CSF radiator WILL keep the coolant temperature at the thermostats rating during towing, high air temp, and high load situations. If you are happy with your temps in the winter but not in summer, then with the new radiator you will now be happy year round. Just keep the stock thermo.
