The instructions still say to use PCMFlash to read the SN off of the dongle...so that part is still outdated.

The serial numbers should be the same, but it doesn't hurt to verify.

 

It should be, but I didn't wait. I sent him the one printed on the dongle as soon as I could! lol Once I get home from work tonight, I can download the software and verify that they match.

 

What serial number on the dongle? Sorry I have not been following the thread for a couple weeks what am I missing... hopefully I sent him the right stuff

 

The newest kits come with the serial# etched on the dongle in the kit

 

The instructions say to plug the dongle in to your PC and email the serial number. If you received the small black USB dongle, the serial number is also printed on one side, so you can get it without plugging in to your PC.

 

Just checked my dongle same code as I sent him now to keep waiting for an email!!!!

I keep getting an “activation data is incorrect “ any one have any idea what is happening

 

It’s when I am trying to paste the license key in

 

They have two options i believe gas or a diesel. The gas comes in a 3.5l v6 308hp. They also have double cab. I was just curiose what are numbers looked like when compared. I agree taco is better

No hurry I can wait for the sweetness of being tuned. Been running 93 the last few tanks to get er ready

 

First drive on 91 and it’s pretty good, not quite the bottom end power I was expecting still kinda sluggish when I mash it hopefully it is just learning and such.. it definitely shifts nicer and does feel a little more powerful but I’m running 285 sst pro’s probably not helping...anyone out there running 285’s on an auto feel like it made a huge power difference down low?

 

I tried to redo the ecu flash and it just instantly said flash successfull or whatever so I assume the tune loaded

 

Weird - it shouldn't "quite" be instant. hmmm
