I am at Riverview Toyota in Mesa AZ and they are ordering my leaf paks and will give me an alignment also. They are doing my tranny reflash as we speak

Is that tranny reflash TSB really only something you should do if you notice anything weird <20mph, or are you having it done just 'because' .? :)

You should get it done regardless. I am told it resets the shift points because it installs the proper software version.

I'd say if you don't see a problem then don't bother. I had mine done because the constant hesitation coming out of a turn drove me batsh*t!

I am wondering If I will see better mpg now. I just filled up a bit ago. It was a good day. All of it was devoted to my baby.

Let's face it, there are some minor issues with our Taco's and we may as well get anything done that Toyota will do under warranty. So far I am pretty happy and my new leaf paks are supposedly going to be in around Wednesday and hopefully they will be installed on Friday.

Once I got my new leaf springs installed it made a huge difference for me. No more bottoming out when towing/hauling!

Mesa Riverview just did mine this week too. Went in on Monday and said it sagged a bunch when I towed and no questions asked order the parts and installed on Tuesday morning.

They are awesome there. They also did the TSB for the trans and the TSB for the squeaky ac blower fan.

    Good luck!

No clue. I was surprised when the service manager came out and said we fixed your squeaky blower fan and oh yeah we ordered new springs that will be here tomorrow. The guys name there I usually try and talk to is Brad.

Just begining, doing some research having some fun!!
When I the called the dealership I bought my 2010 Taco from to get it's 5000k oil, change brake check etc I mentioned the leaf spring TSB. I had a copy in front of me, & the tech looked it up on his computer while we talked. I brought it in, they swaped out the leaf springs & did an & alignment, no questions no hassle. Great service from Central Maine Toyota in Waterville Maine.
