Another thing, would it be better to just buy a complete kit from Amazon and return the trd light's and bezel?

Your’s is not pre-wired. I have an SR with Convenience Package and it came pre-wired - has cruise and keyless entry. I had to add intermittent wipers.
Nitori’s thread has instructions for pre-wired or non pre-wired. Either way you do not have to run a wire thru your firewall. But, you really have to pay attention to his instructions.
In his thread I posted pics of my switch - I opted to use a punch button switch instead of the stalk, because I didn’t want to pull my steering wheel.
Tomorrow morning I will take a pic of the wiring harness plug behind my grill, that was already there.

Did you look behind your steering wheel like the OP has?

My SR was pre-wired and the factory harness stops right behind the grille. Need an additional harness to connect to the fogs obviously.

I went all OEM and did the wiper stalk along with the intermittent wiper mod at the same time

So the harness dont go all the way to the lights then? I was lookin in the light buckets for the plugs. That explains it better

No you will have to buy another small oem harness that connects behind the grille

Does the complete kit look oem? Can you provide a link to what you bought?

If your not pre wired you may just want to buy a 60$ fog light set on Amazon. Make sure it has H11 bulbs. It will come with all the wiring and switch/relay/lights/trim.
The trim is a lil cheezy compared to oem but ours has held up well. You may want to get a different switch depending on where your mounting it.
    I got this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GSGIRNQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
seems to be ok so far. I did get a different switch and a switch panel to replace the lil cubby left of steering wheel.

Same kit pretty much . I had to get a different switch also. The led's are pretty bright.

This is taken with the hood up and looking straight down behind the middle of the grill.
For this pic I unplugged the wiring harness that goes to the fog lights, and you can see it curled back on the left.
The female plug straight down was already there, and the way I understand it is that all Tacomas have that, regardless of trim level.
    Now, it depends on how you want to do this;

If you want to wire your fogs OEM, then Nitori’s thread addresses this.
I purchased the Toyota part numbers that he listed from Gunny1005 (light bezels, relay, switch, wire terminals,...) except the harness and fog lights - which I purchased used out of the classifieds here from a TW member.
My fogs work as OEM, with the appropriate in-dash light coming on correctly.
Between Nitori’s and Moe2o4’s fog light threads you should be able to figure it out.

There are also other options on how to wire them up, that I have seen in various threads.

    Good luck, Steve

Awsome thx for the info. I will be purchasing these then. When you say you replaced the switch is it because it didn't fit on the left side where there are a few blank spots near the cubby hole?

I bought a similar ebay kit, OEM wire harness for behind the bumper and the terminal wire since mine was not prewired. I just grounded the wire instead of a switch so the fogs turn on with the running light position. I didn't feel like I necessarily needed another switch since I always have them on with the headlights anyways. See page 2 of my sig.
