    ...what would you do?

I just got finished reading "World War Z" by Max Brooks - and it made my curious. Not simply because zombies nearly take over the world - but one of the chapters in the books starts out "In a quiet suburban neighborhood in northern San Diego..." *

    :D

So - what would you do if the human race was on the brink of extinction due to flesh-eating zombies?

(For those who don't know me, I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood in northern San Diego. Haha.)

I'd try and get my hands on one of these (linky), grab my iPod, crank up the tunes (heavy metal is the preferred choice of music for a zombie-killing rampage) and go huntin'.

    :)

I would find a group of zombies and stand in front of them and make a speech. Something along the lines of:

"Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?"

After that, my main focus would be to find other humans and eat their brains. Cause I'm fat, and I'm pretty sure even a slow zombie would be able to catch me and turn me.

I know a guy that has a gun shop in the ATL. I'd probably go post up with him if Z-Day arrives. Would have to get food somehow though.

The mosquitoes here would eat them long before we got the chance to put them in a gumbo.

Yes. You are correct. If Zombies took over the world Arizona, New Mexico, "Old" Mexico, Utah, and West Texas would be safe. Zombies would cook on the "short walk" from one town to the other. Last I knew (referencing Shaun of the Dead and Army of Darkness), zombies can't drive or operate air conditioning. :p

That would be fine! Since most of the population would be dead, the demand for gas would shrink, thus the prices would lower. Since we all know that Zombies cant drive, the demand for gas would drop further. Once the Zombies found Arizona, and they got a chance to experience their first "Dry heat" summer here, and the fact that every Arizonian has a shit load of guns and ammo (Im currantly low on ammo haveing only 1500 rounds), they would surely migrate to the north twards Canada. And since Canadian gun laws are stupid, they would find themselfs with plenty of food, and a nice cool climate in which to live. Leaveing you with your rescued damsel to enjoy many wonderfull off roading adventures here in the Zombie free state of AZ. :)

I think I have given this too much thought.
