I absolutely love it on my bumper! I'm not sure if I'll Line-X my sliders or not though. IDK if it'll come off the first time I drag them across some rocks and then I'll be pissed.

I bet! And the Line-X texture would be great for traction as you're getting in and out of the truck. Do they hold up OK when offroading?

Hold up great. The skid in the background it's what I did myself with the bed liner from home depot. Also realizing how dirty the truck is

    Wow, that’s an awesome price!

Personally, I wouldn’t want the factory spray applied bed liner. The factory ones have the factory warranty but if you go aftermarket, you can get a lifetime warranty for roughly the same overall price.

Hello tacoma forums. I have an dilemma. I replaced the wiper arm on my 08 tacoma. Now when I turn them on it just jams both wipers down to the bottom of the window and wont run. Is there a certain way I need to mount the wiper arms?? Has anyone had this issue? Any help would be appreciated. I've been without wipers for almost 2 months.

Got the CB installed today. Still needs some antenna tuning... got it down to 1.3 on ch.1, 2.5 on ch.40, and 2 on ch.19/20 . Did want to cut any more off the whip as it is a little shorter then the cut charts suggests... going to try and run a ground strap for the antenna next... Did get a clear report from about ~2 miles away so that is a good sign.

Initial impression... there is a lot more static on CB then Ham. My ham rarely ever breaks squelch when just driving around... CB was static all over the place... Definitely more people chatting on CB though- not sure Ill leave it on much when just driving around though.

Only real complaint about the radio is the mic connector sits a little deep into the radio box which means its not as easy as I had hoped to just unplug the mic and stash it... mic easily stashes between the seat and the center console though which makes for a nice hidden set up. Eventually I want to run the mic plugs for the ham and CB into the switch blanks below the climate control so that will solve that.

It'll come off the first time you drag it across a rock. Better off just rattle canning them imo. Do a decent job prepping/ priming them you really just have to touch them up

Also if you touch up right after wheeling you minimize the rust bullshit you would otherwise deal with

I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.

We’re the wipers up when you took them off? Sounds like yo should take them off and let them cycle back to rest.

Got a lot done tonight on the truck. New 5100s, top hats, spacers all installed. New spring compressor I bought works awesome. Got one superbump installed. And broke the bolt off in the frame on the second. Tomorrow is another day, I’ll finish it then. Going to pick up a flex drill attachment to to try drill out that bolt. Stupid MF thing

Mine did the same when I did the front super bumps. One side came right out, the other the stupid stud snapped off. I just drilled the whole damn thing out, got a longer he cap bolt, nut and lock washer from the hardware store and used that.
