1.03C test 002 was the last file before we started looking into the throttle issues IIRC. Every file after that was focused around fine throttle control and eliminating the little surges that were happening while trying to hold a steady rpm (all done in neutral or at low speed in 1st gear). He fixed that issue BTW.
I'm not sure if Mat needs more logs right now, but he did say another test tune will be coming for the loggers soon. Then the action starts again!

I think you're right but Mat did post in the alpha thread that he was out of the office for a bit today.

I'm still very much liking test file 1 so I'm not in any real hurry.

I did however manage to experience the reverse flutter/floating rpms this morning at about 500-600 rpms. Cold engine as I only let it warm up for a few minutes.

I guess the lull in conversation has been beneficial in that it's allowed me to get in some quality study time for school lol

I just got back from a logging run. I figured I would do a "normal driving" run to see if I could catch any hiccups in the 1.03C.00002 test tune. I spent an hour driving around town in traffic and hit the highway for an 18 mile round trip. This tune keeps getting better with each revision, the power delivery is smooth and linear but I was still able to catch a couple hiccups. I noted the time displayed in techstream and just sent Matt the file with the time and description of the hiccup. Hopefully this additional data will help him dial this tune in a little closer.

Well done. I caught the reverse fluttering/floating rpm issue today leaving work. Not sure if it's the tune or just a cold engine. It happened while I was backing out of the driveway with the clutch part way out getting ready to pull out into the street. It was fluttering about 5-600 rpms.

On my way to work this morning I got some quick surging with light throttle, the engine was still quite cold though. It does not do it when warmed up. I was not logging at the time.

I will say that I just flashed back to the 002 file yesterday morning and haven't put many miles on since.

Edit: Is it just me, or is the 002 file giving a bit better mpg? I'll have to track this better and see. Anyone else?

If this tune gets better than this(witch it sounds like it will)and MAT adds more features, he needs to bump the price up

I’m having the exact same result. Some minor surging with cold engine. Sometimes get a hesitation/drop at 1800 rpm when pulling away on a cold engine with no warm up. I’ve only done short commutes and the mileage is showing 2mpg better, don’t know how real that is though.

And I agree, on a warm engine this tune is really good.
