Hell Yeas. I love me some spring break. Doing a few things around here before heading out to check out some new skins for the drum kit and maybe a new guitar. Make noise whistle at chicks. Thats the plan for the day. Well see where I'm at when I make a beer run

Well only for a few minutes. But there’s lots of pitch forks and torches lit.

The ban hammer came down in other threads but the participants were from AZ. We have regular trouble from one mods in particular. People have moved on. Its all rather tame now. It happened about 730 this morning

Alrighty guys I got a question for y'all. Any of you know where I could get the nuts bolts and vacuum lines for a 22re. Specifically the nuts for the valve cover, and the bolts for the water pump.

Edit: vato zone has been useless, O'Reilleys has been useless

Hey folks, I'm going to be in San Diego from April 4th-8th. Anything going on that is car related? car show, drag racing, swap meet, etc.

(PS: I'm a Texan...only been to CA once and that was LA for a week several years ago)

Any hardware store will have the nuts and bolts, just standard metric thread stuff. For the vacuum line try asking for windshield washer hose at vatozone, it will work just fine.

We got a good crew here in SD, not sure of anything going on, but I know there will be people willing to go wheeling and drink beer.

We got hardware. Now for the super difficult part. We swapped in a new cam, cam gear and rocker arm assembly. Meticulous about keeping the chain exactly where it was. Special link on chain lined up with the dot on the cam gear and the lines on the rocker arm assembly. Got everything bolted up and torqued down. Tried turning it over. Didn't sound like any compression was being made. Popped valve cover open and cranked again and everything was moving like it was supposed to. It seemed like intake and exhaust valves were open the whole time

Pretty sure you need to look at drive and coast. I only see one side. Then of course assume backlash is in place.

Shit, I didn't have the other pic. Here's Drive/Coast. Backlash is set at .008 nominal. Thanks again!

I like it. I'm not a gear installer. So take that into consideration. The pressure point is centered between the root and the top of the gear.
