If I were to go back to either of them it would be the KAK. For right at $100 you get the whole kit, including buffer and spring. That's hard to beat.

This looks much more appealing that I thought it would.

I don't think they'd put it on the market if they didn't have the ATF's blessing first. From what I understand, they were able to use a carbine buffer tube only if it did not extend over a certain length. They were able to do so by reversing the lever so it only engages the last 3 positions.

Ive seen those at the range and I wouldnt shoot with out hearing protection. It also makes you jump if you are standing next to the shooter and the air/shockwave hits you. I think I didnt flinch next to the guy maybe a couple times;) Still cool to see :D

The magwell was crap on my '02 Bushmaster lower that I registered as an SBR years ago. Didn't want to deal with going through the NFA process again just for a lower receiver with a flared magwell so I took a Dremel to it. Already dropped it off to get re-anodized.

Yeah it is identical to their PDW stock they sell with the exception of the stock itself being rubber and the velcro strap. The parts are interchangeable so if you ever decide to SBR it you just swap out the rubber stock for the plastic one. I wasn't into the whole PDW concept at first but when this came out, which has 4 positions of adjustment, it started to appeal to me. Fully collapsed I can fit it into a tennis racket bag. With the length of 9mm barrels you will have at your disposal you can make it pretty darn compact if that was your thing.

Well you are from texas and it shows. Not a bad thing. :muscleflexing:
I trained a guy at my last job that had never "worked" a day in his life. He insisted on greeting me every morning, "Good morning, Sir!" with a handshake. Nothing wrong with that but his hands felt like I was squeezing salamander hatchlings. It was actually pretty gross.

Home build other than the handguard install, cause I don't have the KAC wrench.

Funny, that's specifically the reason they asked me to continue training.

BTW @Doughnut Spaghetti , finally fired the AR9 this weekend. You weren't kidding about the stupid grins. Even range staff asked to fire a few rounds since it was a slow day due to rain.

What's worse is when they actually say, "Ow, you have a strong handshake!"
*upon release, shakes hand to regain blood flow

My response: "You're weak and will not survive the winter."

Nah, just spray paint. I don't mind how it looks when it wears off in spots. Drives my friend crazy that has a Cerakoting/hydrographics business haha.
