    Debated 5100s. Only question is do I also need springs? If so was thinking ome888s.

    I’m pretty much working & stable for the most part. Work for the in law’s so the the whole job part is secure until I get a better job. Graduate this year hopefully, then applying to a bank maybe.

    I just did 5100s set one notch up with the stock springs. Lifted it an inch in the front.

    I don’t make enough to ball out on any kind of badass suspension & wheels & all. But can probably afford to get a $800 max lift so 5100s would be fine. Could probably swap out the shocks with my dads help. Then save up for wheels

    You don’t need to ball out on a lift. 5100’s with oem springs are a good option. Give Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road a call.

    All these people giving me shit for being a wiring guru... sheesh! Once I do it the first time I can do it fast and thorough.

    I know I'm late to the party but based on your build I'm gonna bet that you are prewired for fogs.

    What that would mean is if we get you a Toyota harness and Toyota relay (should be about 40 bucks total at the dealer if my memory serves me) we can make your install almost 100% straight plug and play.

    Your harness would be 100% factory up until your AOB switch, which we would use to be the ground switch, which is 2 easy splices working with ground wires.

    Would take all of 30 minutes (hardest part is the dash separation but I can do that for you in no time flat) and be about as simple as installs get.

    If you're lifting over 2 or 2.5 inches I'd save for UCAs too. But 5100s, 887 springs and an AAL should do a decent job.

    Speaking of lifts I just dropped the tax return on a set of Archive garage shackle mounts. :spending: He's got a sale going on AND he's giving away a free set out of his next run at random.

    Looks like I will be able to run "stock" springs in the rear, either stick with my SR leaves or get a fresh pair of takeoffs from a TRD Offroad or Pro, potentially even a Sport. That makes the budget for this whole shebang sooooo much easier to swing.
