I dig limb risers but in this case, I think he needs to decide those or the snorkel, cuz that's the first thing that branch is going go take out.

Definatly tightened things up, more than I thought it would. Also did the slip joint mod one the steering wheel to solve the excessive play issue.

He is coming out with a front bumper too. That dude is super nice, him and his wife come to our brewery meets in san diego. His truck is sick, his wifes 4 runner is bad ass. I would love for everyone to support him but dude...I love my CBI and they turned out my order way faster than expected.

Making a drive out woulda been fun! Wish I did that, but yeah they charged 200 extra for the dual and I laughed when they said how much the tables were. Definitely can be done for less

I did rotors and pads this week. Was quite the effort to get the driver side caliper off but I managed it. Had some serious brake shudder before I did the job but now she can stop on a dime and give me 9 cents change!

Changed steering Rack Bushings with Energy Suspension ones, as well as all inner and outer tie rod ends. Holy shit remind me to never change steering rack bushings again.:violent:

Most the time, I’d rather be doing stuff with my truck than doing stuff to my truck.

    Most the time.

Ready for the snow to melt, the gates to be unlocked and the hunts to open up. Pretty sick of this mild winter we’re having in my corner of Utah...

Looks like you guys had a fun trip down there. Hoping to be a little closer next fall and check it out.

What's so bad about it? Once you got the rack off the truck it's like 45mins and done. Hard part is getting the pressure lines off, rest pretty much did itself.

I never even took the lines off the rack when I did mine. I knocked one tie rod end off so it would slide back further. I think I had them changed out in under 20 minutes with an OTC two jaw puller and the big bertha otc press clamp

Compared to you guys I guess and I actually don’t think Grand Junction much closer if at all, but if I end up there I won’t have to give anyone a reason other than “Cause I can”.

Guess I’ll have to read the write up to see what happened with the snow.

Speaking of Utah... took a little trip out to Canyonlands and Lockhart Basin a couple of weeks ago for spring break. Definitely tested the limits of a basically stock Tacoma on a few trails, but the only trail damage was some ripped off mudflaps and some gnarly dents in the skidplate.

Any pics of it under the seat? My 8" barely fits nicely under the seat so I'm curious about a 10"

Thanks! One thing I love about these trucks is that you can still explore some interesting places without going completely crazy with mods, although this trip did make me realize how badly I need to replace my stock leaf springs, was bottoming out on the bump stops with all my camping gear in the back. I agree, white looks pretty sweet in the desert, but pewter pearl is nice too

I'm having it painted white anyway so I can lay jazz cup vinyls on it eventually. This paint is pretty shot, although somehow pics make it look okay.
