Cars we used to drive - 1980 and older that no one would care about but you

This post got me thinking....

Just wondering what you guys used to drive that are not cars anyone would remember, or care about....

I had one of these in High School, but a 4 door. 1971 Buick Centurian

It was the same color as the one in the video. I liked the 455, and the best part was that all the windows rolled down, with no B pillar. No way did they get 15 MPG with the 455 4bl.

 

Sorry, gotta go more modern than 1980 since this thread is not getting much attention. Is that okay?

My first car was just like this:

 

^^^^This^^^^^ except mine was 2dr. All my friends hated it.

 

At least yours was a 2dr...mine had too many doors and not enough cylinders to be even remotely cool.

 

2nd car was a '76 Volare road runner...

 

Then a Buick Skyhawk..

 

Traded the Skyhawk for a '77 Pontiac Astre wagon...my friends quickly nicknamed it "the Dis-Astre".

 

This car but in in green. I had the white walls and the wire hubcaps also.

 

Then dad gave me grampa's car...

 

1973 international harvester 1110 side step regular cab with the 304. Man I wish I had it still, mine was black though

Not prior to 1980... and Not my picture, but mine looked very similar to this. My first car was a 1981 Datsun/Nissan 280zx 5spd. The motor had a lot of work done to it. Great car for a 16y/o

My first antique, a 1973 Mercedes 280:


Bought it just out of high school (Summer of 2003). Had an inline six and a 4 speed automatic, leather interior, disc brakes all the way around, and a HUGE power moonroof that was almost like having a convertible. Thought it was the coolest car, even though it took forever to hit 60 and it had some really strange electrical gremlins. Drove it all over the state for the 3-4 years that I had it.
