Hope you're not attached to the topper, I may keep it, it's crusty and not great. I took it off of my '94 and pretty much just use the truck for hauling cardboard to the recycle station.

 

Good to hear you liked it, they get so much hate sometimes it seems. I would love to have a manual again, but they seem hard to come by. How about a nice blue second gen as your adventure rig??

 

That's priced reasonably too. There is a person here trying to sell there 2017 with 4,000 miles that's been wrecked twice asking 37,000.

 

It's cool to see a manual. Every one I've ever peered into is an auto.

My sister in law went to lander to get her truck “fixed” two weekends ago and came home with a 2018 Tacoma dclb in desert sand...it’s not even a trd. If she had simply said something I could have pointed her in the right direction.

Me too, kinda wish I had the extra money laying around.

 

We're going to go look at some this weekend, hopefully take a test drive to see if it's something we want to do for sure or not. Mostly to see if it's enough of an improvement to justify upgrading. Would love to have yours if we decide to go through with it, and could make it work out . Plus we've never been to Boise.

I think this is what's happening at this point - Ben and I took a ton of pics, and are working on processing them. Then, we can write. Zane didn't bring his camera, so umm... (got some great shots with his phone though!)

There are definitely plenty of stories. And amazing pics.

Probably still a couple days away, but I bet we get it done before the De-Tour story gets posted! hahahahaha

 

C.R.I.S emailed me and said my T4i is beyond repair, so whatever I guess. Never been much of a take pictures person anyway, takes away from the experience for me. Love looking at others' photos though. I think I'll start packing a decent point and shoot with me from now on. Anyone want some Canon glass?
